Finalizing a project always brings us joy. It has been a little over a month since our peace prep family moved into their new home. Our goal with this project, along with our other projects, is to keep English Avenue residents in their community. This project was a fun one for our construction team. Due to extremely generous donors we were able to provide a high quality renovation to a house the City of Atlanta deemed uninhabitable. Our new residents love their new house. They are looking forward to the holiday season to continue making their house a home.
Welcome Home!
Our residents have occupied this home since September. The 426 Cairo project began in 2022 with the hope of increasing the amount of single family homes that are affordable and of quality. This home went from uninhabitable to now including 4 bedrooms, 2 full size bathrooms, 2 Living rooms, laundry room, garage and out door patio. Check out our work for more photos.
